Great addition to the Knight series. Kitty French is at the top of her game writing sex and romance. Lucien and Soph are so much in love, and the reader just wants to be a part of their journey. I was slightly disappointed because the story ended at the 80% mark. Definitely worth the wait, hopefully she will write more in this series.

This novella gives us a deeper insight into the closed off character that is Lucien Knight, and we get to know more about him. I realized I'll never say no to more Lucien Knight.
This man can make me swoon, melt and fan myself with zero effort. He's perfect, I'm telling you.

I can't believe it's been 3years that you first introduced Lucien and Sophie - who were less likely to become one of the most sensual and compatible couples I've read. Every time I'm asked to suggest romantic books to read, Kitty French's 3 books have been on every list! I was thrilled to see she's added to their story with Knight and Sleigh. The author has done it again! What woman wouldn't wish for a real man like Lucien, Sophie is a lucky imaginary woman.
This was a quick little sexy visit with Lucien and Sophie for their first Christmas in his family cabin in Norway. He's still the hot bossy man we remember, only to me he was extra sweet and vulnerable in this one. Lucien has plans for Sophie and their time alone and she's more than happy to make her man happy. Being back in the childhood cabin awakens memories and brings emotions to the surface he wasn't expecting.
It was nice getting to see how close these characters have continued to grow and how their love for each other has strengthened and gotten stronger. Happy endings are always the best, and little peaks into those are even better.
Eagerly awaited book! When I first found out that Kitty French was writing a holiday book about two of my favorite characters, I could not wait to get my hands on it. Lucien Knight and Sofie Black are one of my favorite book couples and..... Lucien......shall we say "YUMMY"!! Ms. French, as always, makes my imagination run wild with this man! In fact, after reading this special holiday treat, I had to re-read the other Knight books as it made me hungry to read more! If you liked the previous books in this series, you will love, love, love this special holiday book! I suggest you buy it as a holiday gift to yourself!
Quickly? I LOVED this novella of Lucien's and Sophie's first real Christmas as a couple. The story makes clear that he and Sophie have settled a bit into their relationship (or as settled as you can get when your man is the Hot Viking Dominant Adult Industry Owner/CEO Lucien Knight, with his on-the-go lifestyle!), Sophie's gotten divorced from her cheating no-good ex-husband, and they're back in Norway staying for a few days in his family cabin where he spent Christmas with his parents as a boy.
Given what Sophie discovered of what killed his mother and drove Lucien away from his father, and made him into the coldly dangerous but undeniably hot man she'd first gone to work for at the start of the initial book in the series, KNIGHT & PLAY, she knows this season is full of emotional landmines for him. He'd given her permission, as his personal assistant as well as his Significant Other, to renovate the family cabin, assuming she'd remake it into something comfortably modern. But Sophie, understanding Lucien better than he understands himself, instead renovates it into a comfortable homey space for them - just like his mother would have had she lived. Lucien is other unnerved and touched by how close Sophie gets - even making her spend Christmas stark naked except for a pair of sexy Louboutin heels, an obvious Lucien way of dominating her sexually in a way they'll both enjoy, doesn't eliminate the tenderness under the hot and (very mildly) kinky sex.
There are speedbumps for the couple, but hardly the landmines Sophie feared. The story ends on a warm and loving note for her and Lucien, and a lead-in to the previous book in the series, KNIGHT & DAY, set a few years in the future.
My only criticism is a very mild one - the author should have thought of Heathcliff, the Husky Sophie got Lucien for Christmas, sooner. I would have loved to see Lucien and Dylan of Kitty's KNIGHT & DAY bonding over the dog....
